We started Little Crush back in March, we have been using a hastily made logo which we don't totally hate, but it is not quite symmetrical and not quite as stylish as our company needs. We want the logo to embody our films which are fun, but high quality and well crafted. Hence our examples being along the lines of an old vintage USA manufacturing style, like an old clothing co or industrial company. We would like samples that show a playful hand written primary off-set against stylish traditional bold secondary text. We have so far leant a little too heavily on the girly/female feel and would like to steer more towards some slightly more high end a serious. That said a small nod to anything like a subtle love heart would be acceptable. The main issue with our current logo (below) is the way it squeezes up into the top right which looks unsymmetrical when on its own.
We initially want a full rectangular/square treatment and once we settle on a design/designer, we will follow up for smaller versions for thumbs and signatures etc. The ludlow blunt sample below is the closest I have seen to exactly what we are after. I don’t love the exact fonts, the way they curl, but structure and content it is almost spot on as it seems to say vintage mark of quality while still feeling fun. [Don't try and work in images or pictures, this is just text based please].
There are three main elements that can be incorporated, but by no means feel you have to include all of them. In order or priority;
1. LITTLE CRUSH
2. FILM CO
3. EST - 2018
4. INDEPENDENT FILM PRODUCTION, BROOKLYN
