We are looking for a great company logo and website header for a new website called OMTTS ... which stands for One Million Things That Suck.
It is a Social Networking website where users post text or text and photos of things in daily life that really tick them off and other users not only reply to those posts but also rank how valid and interesting of a "gripe" each original post actually is. Those ratings are tallied which leads to a weekly winner, monthly winner, etc. for the best posted "gripe" and prizes are awarded.
Also on the Home Page is a nice-sized 7-digit "Hit Counter" that rolls over one number at a time whenever a brand new, original "gripe" is posted. The goal is to get to ONE MILLION gripes!

Everyone! Everybody loves to complain—students about their teachers, voters about politicians, sports nuts about referee calls, girls about their boyfriends, travelers about airlines, and on and on.
But it's not complaining, unless someone is listening while you rant and rave, whether they agree or disagree with you, which is where OMTTS comes in.
Here's the interesting part (or at least we think so).
At the same time that we are developing OMTTS.com, we are also developing OMTTR.com where the "R" stands for "rock" as in OneMillionThingsThatRock which is the direct counterpart to OMTTS and is where users post text or text and photos of things they think are great and people respond.
At some point we may develop websites using other letters of the alphabet for the last letter. Which means that the emphasis and the branding needs to be on the OMTT part of the name so that the websites have some consistency yet users know they are different based on what is done with the fifth letter. So when you submit your designs we would like to see designs for both OMTTS and OMTTR.
We also own the full URLs for OneMillionThingsThatSuck.com and OneMillionThingsThatRock.com so it's possible those spelled out names could be incorporated into the OMTTS and OMTTR logos if you think that looks good, although what should be dominant are the big all-caps OMTTS and OMTTR.
As for the look and feel and design of the logo(s) we are wide open. The challenge is to design them so that each website can stand on its own but at the same time users know they are part of a similar family of websites. One idea might be for the roll-over "Hit Counter" to be part of the actual OMTTS and OMTTR logos, or part of the website headers ...
