Design more with less. Use beautiful font, few colors, minimal embellishments, good use of white and negative space and a visually pleasing shape that works with color or black and white.
I've attached a file with 3 examples of possible options.
1) The first tries to turn the 'f' into a sword but the font just doesn't feel right.
2) The second is the front-runner. It's clean, readable and we like the color but it lacks imagination. It doesn't use clever shape or take advantage of negative space.
3) This one is mixed. It follows a strong theme but is very busy. I like the 'H', 'o' and 'F' but not the 'w' and 'u'. Even toning it down would still give it a fun or playful feel and we really want to go with the minimalist/professional feel.
In the 3 examples I used charcoal and red in the logo. Feel free to deviate if needed. We considered trying a solid 2 color block with white font and a curved divider looking like a yin yang but haven't tried it.
