Looking for a casual breakfast menu in A4 landscape orientation which will go onto a clipboard with pages. Spread it over as many pages as needed, maybe breakfast on one coffee and tea on another, cold drinks on a third, or go four pages if you need to for your industrial approach!
We've included the menu below - please feel free to layout the menu however you see fit.
Also a separate alcohol menu in A5 portrait orientation on pages covering red wine, white wine, sparkling wine, beer and eventually cocktails etc. We want this to have the same or similar aesthetic/personality/theme I.e a casual industrial theme.
We understand the contest includes 4 pages and will work with the winning designer for the additional pages in a 1-1 Project if the total pages go over 4 :)
We are looking for a casual industrial theme/aesthetic/personality. Industrial is the keyword.
We are open to any modern take on ‘industrial’ and below I've included photos of the cafe with an explanation on what we feel gives us the industrial feel which we want to carry through into the menu and all printed materials.
Also included an assortment of our logo files. If you would like to change this to match your industrial-style we are open to whatever it takes to get a good looking menu.
Also included is a photo of a glowing nixie tube clock HH:MM:SS
IMPORTANT: The cafe is located is a tower on the ground floor in the Melbourne CBD serving the bulk of hotel guests for breakfast. The immediate vicinity surrounding the cafe both across the road and right next door has seen two new towers having just broken ground and will each exceed 60 storeys. We are expecting high levels of tradesmen for the next two years including construction workers, builders, electricians, plumbers, painters, plasterers and more. This adds to our desire to complete our "industrial" personality.
There is a major intersection right outside the front door also which is covered by a bridge in industrial golden gate style orange/brown. You can see steel beams and heavy nuts and bolts. I will include a photo. This plus all the construction and the skyline adds to the innercity industrial concrete jungle feel of the area.
