No preferences on colors, but as it's for young kids, I'd prefer more playful, soft colors.

The home screen lists all the books. Kids click the book to start listening to the audio book. Parents switch to edit mode to either edit/delete/add a new book. While listening to the book, kids can go back/next page. In the edit mode when edit/add a new book, parent can take a picture of the cover and record the audio page by page.
