We need a movie poster for our thesis film, 'UNREMARKABLE' that will be used at it's Los Angeles Premier, an entertainment industry showcase, and at festival screenings during it's 2016 festival run.
We are interested in something very much *designed* and not just taking a still image from our movie and creating a poster around an existing still image.
We love the work of Neil Kellerhouse (http://www.kellerhouse.com/#/0) so you can take a look at his work if you want. Specifically, the posters that , again, don't just take one still image and fill up the frame with it, we want something unique and created from scratch. It is okay to incorporate elements from the movie still images, but we don't want one single image to incorporate the entire poster, unless used in a very unique and creative way (as background or super imposed on something etc.)
The film is about a woman who is on vacation with her family in Los Angeles, California, and is shot and killed. Our main character is dead almost the entire movie, but we don't leave her, we stay with her after she dies and follow the journey of her body from her final breaths to processing at the county morgue, to the autopsy, embalming, final goodbyes of her family, and the film contrasts how devastating loss can be to one person, but to somebody else this dead body is just a job. The tone is a bit dark, and the film is very stylized.
