I am looking for a designer to help:
1- designing the website and specifically:
a) the "Gallery" page, where all content captured (objects) is diplayed. Each object should display the date and time when it was captured, the user photo, the source, etc. The layout of this page should be an infinite scrolling, like other social network (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr). At the top there should be a menu bar (similar to Twitter and Facebook) and to the right the ability to create Collections (folders). Collections should be list to the right hand side. Content is moved from the Gallery into a Collection, by dragging an object form the infinite scroll section to the appropriate Collection Icon.
At the top of the infinite scroll, should be a section that allows a user to create content (text, upload photo or video).
b) a sample "collection" page, where a user has saved content from the Gallery page. The layout should be the same as the Gallery, but to the right, the top option to drag objects should be the "Gallery" and all other Collections should be below that.
2- designing a deck for a pretotype to conduct a market research.
The deck needs to show how the flow of capturing an image, tex, url and so forth from a webpage works and how the content is then accessed in the "gallery" on the memosnag.com website. Then from there how it can be organized in folders (collections) and shared with other users
Additional Notes added on 2/16 to provide more details on the market research deck desribed at #2 above:
A key part of this contest is the design of the flow showing:
1- How content is captured from the web and sent to the gallery. The way it works is as follows:
- IMAGES: when hovering with the mouse over an image on a webpage, the memosnag logo (circled m) apears in the top left corener of the image. When the user clicks on it, the image is instantaneously sent and saved in the gallery together with the url and any other author information available from the originating webpage (author, publisher, date, etc.)
- VIDEOS: like Images
- Text: the user selects the text she is interested in. The memosnag logo appears over and at the end of the selection. When the user clicks on the logo, the text is instantaneously sent and saved in the gallery as a "quote" together with the url and any other author information available from the originating webpage (author, publisher, date, etc.)
2- How objects in the gallery can be moved to a collection by dragging the object to the collection icon.
This is needed for a deck to be presented to users as part of a market research so it must be very simple to understand.
