Please see thegreencart.com to get a feel for our website and product, although the flyer doesn't have to resemble the website. We also have a Facebook page and Twitter account if you'd like to become our friend. :)
This is a business based solely in Austin, the capitol of Texas. Some things that are popular here include:
organic and natural food
supporting local businesses
"green" business (environmentally friendly)
the Austin skyline
Dogs, Lake Austin, swimming in the summer, being outdoors
food trailer parks
The owner loves a modern design - think West Elm, Web 2.0, and WIRED magazine. That's what will earn his nod.
Local businesses are very well supported here, so playing up the local business thing is most important... so maybe include something like:
"an original Austin food cart" (see image attached)
The Green Cart was originally a portable food cart that lived on the sidewalk of "the drag," the main street of the University of Texas here. It's a huge student / young people's scene here in Austin.
Also, we use hormone-free meats and no high-fructose corn syrup in our products. Emphasizing eating smart and healthy would be great in our flyer!
some other (optional) text add-ins:
Find The Green Cart and Whole Foods and Your Favorite Local Cafe'
Some Web sites that we like but don't want to resemble too closely in terms of brand differentiation would be:
Bauhaus 93 is our house font, although we'd like to do a logo redesign soon, so it's not critical to use it.
Thanks so much for your submissions! Good luck.
