The overarching idea is to promote concerts/music that is going through a metamorphosis. Huge, symphonic works for symphony orchestra (with 100+ musicians) will be performed by a smaller ensemble = metamorphed music. This is why we wish to use double exposure/blending of some kind.
This (blending/double exposure) is not mandatory but an idea from our side. Please feel free to surprise us... :)
1) We are looking for a stunning poster for upcoming concerts and a corresponding webpage. We require Photoshop files in order for us to make changes after completion. Original poster format/size should be A2
These are some of our preferred design hints/points for the competing designers to consider:
* We are looking for a modern look, something that stands out from the conventional classical music promo material. Yet, the information part needs to be clear and easily read.
*IMAGE/TEXT PRIORITY 1
- Focus is on the composer Gustav Mahler (see images that may be used), and the concert project name should be presented as follows:
(MAIN TEXT TITLE LARGE)
(Subtext in smaller capital letters)
Metamorfoser: Mahlers Symfoni nr 1
MAHLERS SYMFONIER I ETT NYTT FORMAT
*TEXT PRIORITY 2
- The Ensemble Mutatis are the performers.
Their name should be clearly communicated as the performers with the words:
"By Ensemble Mutatis"
Please use their logo (enclosed)
*The project arranger is courtesy of Atlas Artists Sweden. This should be either top or bottom and does not have to be prominent.
Please use the words "Presented by Atlas Artists" or "Atlas Artists presents"
Please use the logo for Atlas Artists (enclosed)
We would like you to try blending in the profile face of Mahler with stunning graphics. We are open for you to also use background imagery for effect (Alps/Mountains in Austria/Switzerland). Woods/nature/ Please feel free to add own images that feel good - or use the provided ones, preferably.
*Please feel free to make design ideas of your own. Double exposure photography is only one idea from our side - don't feel pressured to do exactly this.
*Please note that the poster will need to have sufficient space for Date/time/concert venue/ticket info/homepage adress and also for our sponsor logos (5-6).
Avoid obvious musical connotations (such as notes/music symbols unless used in a subtle and tasteful way!
