Howard Park Wines
We create high-end, quality & elegant wines from the Margaret River & Great Southern grape growing regions of Western Australia. Our wines range from $28 - $135 per bottle. We target affluent wine collectors & aspirational wine consumers. The age range is from 27yo - 60+. We are family-owned company with heart.
We are seeking an event poster combining two separate events to be held at the winery.
The events are part of the larger Cabin Fever festival, which can be viewed at http://www.cabinfeverfest.com.au
We want an A3 sized vertical poster that contains three parts. At the top is the information regarding our Fondue by the Fire event, in the middle is the information for our Truffle & Pinot long table lunch, at the bottom is our address, logos, website, etc.
Please refer to our Poster Template (word doc) for a rough guide & for all information/text to be included.
Cabin Fever proposes a style guide, please view this here (also has their logo): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ddh83v9l…P5b-a?dl=0
Our logo is included as a separate attachment.
We are looking for a beautiful, legible & striking font for both the phrases "Fondue by the Fire" & "Truffle & Pinot Long Table Lunch".
We don't think the poster requires imagery, it should instead be carried by the striking font as the main focal point.
As you look at the page, the two biggest elements you should see that jump out are "Fondue by the Fire" & "Truffle & Pinot". The rest should be smaller.
We do not want photos, but rather a textured background. We don't need graphics, but if you'd like to add some in something like cheese or a wine glass, truffle etc. would be appropriate.
We're aiming for a natural look - sepia tones, charcoal font colour. We don't want it looking too corporate. We are inspired by the work of Blacklist calligraphy, please see this in google images.
While we encourage you to be influenced by the Cabin Fever style guide, please feel free to put your own mark on the design!
Please refer to Cabin Fever style guide & view their Dropbox & website for a full understanding of the festival/event & its style & aesthetic.

Please see below a word doc file that is the Poster Template with all text info & also our own Howard Park logo.
Also attached is a rough hand drawn guide for the lay out. We are looking for a big bold script-style font that echoes, but is not the same, as the Cabin Fever logo itself.
We're looking for a sepia coloured background & for the main script heading to be in a charcoal grey colour.
While we encourage you to be influenced by the Cabin Fever style guide, please feel free to put your own mark on the design!
