Design needed for a DVD music Library

Big Fish Audio creates music libraries for musicians, music producers, and composers. Our overall catalog of music covers nearly all musical styles. We've been around for over 15 years and we are recognized as the leader in our field.

Our audience is mainly musicians working in the entertainment industry. They are very tech-savvy and like to stay current on the latest music technology available on the market. They are primarily looking for products that look professional and top of the line. The designs that they see must fit this mold.

The title of this project is "Smooth n' Sexy R&B Guitar Pak". The cover design should feature this name prominently and it should be artistically incorporated into the overall design. The product contains modern hip hop and R&B music. The cover should be artistically designed without any cheesy clip art designs. We also won't consider a plain piece of stock photography of a guitar and just the title slapped on the image. We are looking for originality and yet something that clearly portrays smooth R&B guitars.

The design can be created using any graphics program(s) you like, but we would like final delivery in PSD or PNG format, layered, at 300dpi. It will be used as the front cover of the DVD case. Dimensions are 5.1" x 7.2" with 0.125" (1/8") bleed. The use of stock photography is acceptable within a reasonable price range. If you choose stock photography, feel free to use the preview (watermarked) image in your mockup, and we will overlook it during the contest's duration, then will purchase it if you are the winner of the contest.
