Directorio Hispano is a spanish language directory that is published annually in the DC metropolitan area (includes Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC). This directory is primarily a business directory that is distributed to the hispanic community living in our local area for free. This 2010 edition will be our 14th edition.
Our target audience is the hispanic community of the DC metropolitan area.
Part of our brand image is the Statue of Liberty. We have always featured her in all our covers. While she in the past has always been the main focus of our cover art, we are not opposed to having her be less of a focus this year. However, we do require her to be on the art.
Must include logo. Logo can be updated, but please understand that if you choose to do so and we pick your design this will mean that you give Latino Publishing, Inc. the copyrights to the new logo and all required artwork.
We also have always included the flags of all the Spanish speaking South American countries (and Mexico & Spain) in some way. The purpose has been to incorporate our target audience heritages and the US. We do not require that you use the flags, but do ask to artistically combine these two cultures in some way.
We are looking to modernize our look, but without reinventing our image too much.
