I want to have a label that looks appealing, that stands out on the shelf and also looks classic and stylish. This can be modern style with a medieval twist but just go with whatever looks amazing. I added a picture of the bottle in the files.
I want my main logo to be visible at the top in the middle. Then the name of the mead should be in the center (which must be changeable for me, for the different kinds of mead styles), for the example we could start with just 'traditional', for my pure honey mead.
Also for the different kind of meads, I want to be able to change something on the label, so that every kind of mead style has its own thing.
On the bottom in the middle or somewhere on the side, whatever looks best, I want to have the text 'Geproduceerd en gebotteld in het Westerkwartier' (it means produced and bottled in the Westerkwartier), with the heraldic shield of the Westerkwartier under that text. That picture is added in the files.
On the bottom left or right the alcoholpercentage must be shown and under that percentage the bottle capacity. It needs to be changeable for me as well. For this first label the alcohol percentage is 14% and for the law it has to be written like '14% vol' and this bottle is going to be 500ml.
There also has to be an ingredient list, this text can be turned for a quarter to the left or right, but not mandatory. For this mead, it has to say: 'Ingrediënten: water, honing en gist' (it means ingredients: water, honey and yeast) and under or next to it the phrase; 'bevat sulfiet' (it means contains sulfite).
I also need to have the batch number on it. This can be written like:' Batch No.', with a small open field next to it for handwritten batch numbers. Next or onder that field, I want to have the text: 'Fles...van...' (it means bottle...of...). So I can handwrite that myself as well.
Also there needs to be a logo for pregnant woman and how to throw it away. I added those logo's in the files with an example on another bottle. The colors can be changed to that of the label.
And as a last thing, I want to have a to have a little space somewhere to be able to write a few sentences about the mead on the label to tell the buyers what the product is, have my website somewhere (http://www.northernmead.nl) and, not mandatory; to check or put how sweet the mead is. Perhaps https://shopmeads.com is a site which you can find some inspiration for the smaller details (like how moonlight meadery have a small change for their label for each product and have their ingredients text a quarter way turned). Thanks in advance for all the work!
