After college, I began working in photography for a few years. I moved to Colorado to be with my husband and received a great opportunity to work for Gannett (now TEGNA)'s design hub in Denver. While working for TEGNA, I won an EMMY award for an investigative story I did graphics for, and I've had the opportunity to teach a graphic design class to fellow TEGNA employees across the country.
