I'm a sci-fi/fantasy author, so it would be great if something about the logo could reflect that. I want something quirky, fun, ideally with lots of small random items around the main title. Detailed logos are great, but if you have an idea for a simpler, impactful design, go for it!
That said, please DO NOT USE ROBOTS! No matter how cute/cool they are; I don't want to see any robot-themed designs, or any robots at all :) The same goes for alien races. Spaceships and astronauts are both okay ;)")
