Beachside Resort Site

Budget priced seaside resort requires web site redesign that's modern, funky and fun.

The home page will be a blog with videos, blog posts and general tidbits rather than a dull sales page.

The Shore

A web site design (just need to supply a psd file) that will be integrated into WordPress.

We require a clean, crisp design that is professional but not too corporate.
The site is to generate leads and sales for a beachside resort.
The site will have a strong blog component, email newsletter, Twitter account.
We’re going to have the Rates & Availability display at the top of the page (below any header image).

We’ll show from “Availability Checker” in the header to the line “The above grid is indicative only. Discounts, Specials or Surcharges may apply. Click 'Continue' below to obtain your quote.”

Instead of that last line we’ll have a button saying “Book Now”.

Under this we’ll then move into the blog.The header style for each blog will have:
- Blog title

- Date posted

- Posted by whom
The footer for each post will have Comments and Permalink.

The Shore is a well established budgetpriced resort on the Esplanade at Surfers Paradise, Australia’s premier touristspot.

The home page will be a blog, with aTwitter feed integrated into the sidebar.

Also on the sidebar we require:
·        Display a little weather widgetshowing current temperature
·        Latest video section – display1 YouTube video
·        An online newslettersubscription field (just email required)
·        Twitter feed
·        ‘Useful Resources’ as a headingwhere we’ll list resources and link to them direct or link to internal pages.
·        ‘Blog categories’ so we canlist the main categories.
·        ‘Blog Archives’ – perhaps adrop down list.
·        Calendar
