We are a hosting site for restaurants, we are _not_ a restaurant ourselves.
We offer our restaurant owners a simple way to create a site for their business, using professional templates.
We have two audiences that we are targeting.
* Restaurant patrons; that is, anyone who is using the web web to look for a place to eat. The page needs to provide the essential information that a patron wants to know. How do I get to the restaurant? What food do they serve? How much will it cost?
* The restaurant owners themselves. We want to communicate to them that we have a design that will help them promote their business and attract business.
This design is actually for use as a template in a content management system.
Therefore the specifics of the restaurant will be unknown.
*Fonts*
You must use fonts that are either common or those available in the Google Font Directory (http://code.google.com/webfonts)
We want to have a nice custom look, but ultimately all text with need to be in HTML. In other words, if there is a header section that reads "Today's Specials" we don't want that to be an image in the final HTML. Instead, we'll use Google fonts. Simply put, just use the fonts listed in the link and you'll be fine.
*Layers*
The final PSD file should use layers. Specifically, I want all text on separate layers.
*Use of Content*
It is likely that many of our customer will have a limited amount of content, as such, we prefer submission that look good with sparse content. (See the expected content in the Page Details.)
*Size & Layout*
We are using the bluerpint css framework for layout. http://www.blueprintcss.org/
I've attached the PSD template to the brief.
You are not required to use this template, but the more you use it, the better.
*Restaurant Name*
Even though the name of the restaurant is not known, or rather it will be different for each customer, we hope to provide a professional look for the name. I encourage using the fonts in the Google directory for this.

The page will contain the following information:
* restaurant name
* tagline about the restaurant, such as "The finest noodles in the neighborhood"
* location (that is the address of the restaurant, as well as helpful directions, such as "across the street from the florist."
* hours of operation (such as "Open Monday - Saturday, 10am to 10pm")
* three popular menu items. Each menu item would consist of a name of item ("Chicken Lo Mein"), the price ("$7.95"), a brief description ("Tasty noodles and yummy chicken!", and small image of the dish.
* a brief review of the restaurant, you can use a single paragraph of lorem ipsum.
Below are several templates that are very similar to what I want. I cannot use these though because they have restrictions on the number of sites they can be used for. Since my site is a content management system, I need to be able to use the same template over and over again.

Your submissions can be very similar to these examples, as long as you are not just ripping off someone else's work.
