On Queue Computer http://www.on-queue.com
On Queue Computer is a reseller of refurbished servers, workstations, disk drives, processors, memory, etc. from HP, Sun, Dell, IBM, etc. Our market is very competitive and we would like for our website to look more up to date.
We would like to look more professional and to appeal to a very large and diversified market of corporate IT professionals. We are looking for a complete design overhaul with nice graphics.
On Queue Computer's site needs to appeal to high end computer users and IT professionals. These users range from the local High School IT administrator all the way to the CIO/CEO of major corporations. Our customers usually have restricted budgets and are looking for refurbished/leased/used equipment as opposed to buying brand new. Some customers are looking for complete solutions (configured servers and workstations) while others are looking for replacement/spare parts
(example: replacing a blown power supply). We have rental options for those customers with short term computing needs as well.
Currently the site is very flat and boring and lacks appeal for our business customers, we need a site that stands up to the sites that you may see at HP.com, sun.com, ibm.com
We want a big company look but also customer friendly
images of a person on the phone (customer support) and/or person at the computer (email support). Maybe use the phrase "Call now for technical Help and Pricing" in the graphic.
We need to make sure the customer understands that we have quality products, experience (18 years), technical expertise, and
cost savings. Images that portray these qualities should be used.
If possible we would like to incorporate a feel that relates to the current Green trend since most of the equipment we sell is essentially recycled back into the corporate arena.
A flash element like you see at http://www.IBM.com would also be a nice touch, but is not a mandatory requirement. Maybe something with the words quality products, technical expertise, cost savings, friendly service fading in and out with pictures representing each of these phrases. If you choose to make a flash element for the site, http://www.stikc.com/ has a
good example of what we would like.
If you wouldl like to customize or edit our logo that is up to your creativity. We are open to change.
You should include the manufacture's logos at the bottom and the HP Invent Business Partner logo at the top right of the home page somewhere in the design , however you can change the color from black
We would like very crisp graphics and more depth as opposed to the current flat look.
