BCE Mediation is a small, new 'mediation' practice in the UK.
Mediation is a completely confidential and voluntary process that can help resolve conflict instead of arbitration, adjudication or a judge lead processes. A mediator independently facilitates disputing parties to arrive at a mutually acceptable outcome. Sides can freely decline to agree or terminate discussions at any point and due to its ‘without prejudice’ nature can leave the mediation as if it had never taken place. Parties are fully in control of their position at all times and often use mediation to reduce or eliminate their risk.
BCE would like a website to generate a significant number of enquiries for its business.
Our target audience is those who instruct on mediation engagements such as direct from businesses, shareholders, directors, stakeholders, private individuals and employees as well as from legal solicitors, barristers, insurance companies and Court programmes.
Those who appoint mediators are normally 'the professions'. Solicitors, Barristers, Surveyors, Accountants, Company Finance Directors, Company Human Resource Directors, Shareholders etc. They all act for those (eg solicitors) who would like to avoid legal action or are those directly affected eg Company Directors who have been wronged by someone or who are facing a legal claim. As per the Corporate Identity, the website therefore has to be very professional to convey a message of competence and professionalism. They are more likely to respond positively to 'conservative' imagery rather than radical/creativity.

A corporate identity has already been done (attached).
Now, a simple, uncluttered, professional, trust engending, clean, home page design based on the existing corporate identity is required as well as one content page to be used as a template to hold a variety of content. The design should be provided as an eps file or similar layered format.
The text for the homepage is attached. Designers should try to use some copyright/royalty free imagery to liven up the pages. Imagery might be three people around a round table. Or 5 people around a boardroom style table or similar. Perhaps someone standing at a flipchart. Or People looking at some documents or similar. Professional imagery. People wearing suits. I have uploaded some ideas for images in istock photo images.txt
Designers should feel free to be as creative as they feel fit, but with the target audience of conservative professionals in mind. The web site should be clear enough to enable someone to instantly understand that the product offering is a Mediation service aimed to be of maximum benefit to small and medium enterprises.
Trust, Professionalism and Independence must be conveyed. The colours for the corporate identity were chosen to reflect this.
The additional task of converting the design into static html or a vanilla content management stsyem is excluded from this content and "could" (optional) be quoted for as an extra by the winning diesnger
