The website provides two functions:
1. Allow people interested to sign up or contact us to discuss using our service
2. To help us with sales so when talking to prospects, they can share the website with colleagues/bosses who want to find out more about our solution and who we are. For this it is important to demonstrate credibility - who we are, what we do, how we can help.
Our target audience are companies running online services (think of services like Uber, Spotify, Google, Facebook - anything that's running online with users/customers). We specifically target the Operations (sometimes called DevOps) team that are responsible for running those services. This team are responsible for looking after the servers, the databases, web servers etc. and other infrastructure and need monitoring software like Dataloop.IO to ensure they're all running as expected, and are alerted to issues (via email, SMS, phone call) when things go wrong so they can fix them quickly before the service goes down (outage) and users start complaining.
Key themes are Cloud, agility, metrics, monitoring and alerts so the design should incorporate those themes for a technical audience.
