Healthy recipes website
I am a food blogger who creates healthy, fit, easy and tasty recipes.
Target audience: 25-35 years old women, healthy lifestyle.
Should be modern, friendly, clean, easy to orientate and easy to use.
I would suggest a nice green color shade as the main color, as it indicates a healthy lifestyle. Could be combined with other colors, as per your suggestion.
Also, I would like more fun/casual fonts to be used, compared to the masculine fonts we use on the beta site now.
I also like gradient colors, but it is up to you if it fits into your design.
Please, only design the whole recipe page (the page with a particular recipe on it), from header till the end of the page, including the filter in the sidebar.
I also want the search bar to be visible all the time somewhere on the website.
The structure of what should be on a recipe page is illustrated in the beta version.
You can also include a small "about the author" box somewhere on the recipe page, if it fits.
Hello and thank you for your interest in my project, which I will try to briefly introduce:
The website is not a classic web site, which will be loading after every click, but a so-called Progressive Web App, that with its functionality reminds of a desktop application that has instant actions and works offline.
The goal of this site is to make the most user-friendly web (clean and instant filtering, simple structure). As a consequence, we have suggested that the whole left side shows a complex recipe filter that is not entirely aesthetic now. It invites you as a designer to offer a solution where functionality meets with aesthetics.
Target group is 25-35 years old women, which visit the web site mostly over the mobile phone, where the filter will be the hamburger menu. Most visitors will be coming on site to the recipe detail page or category of recipes (/ recipes-no-sugar) and it would be well to encourage them to click on filter and thus make them engage with the site even more.
UPDATE: Regarding the filter on the left, we would like to replace the classic sidebar with the filter, but it should be visually appealing and user/friendly. ••It seems the only solution for the filter to be shown there in full all the time, is to make it wider, to accommodate two-columns filter•• The filter will be positionally fixed and will stay on the screen, only the right side with the content will be moving.
The site header (logo, search, socials) can be in the sidebar or in the main container.
The page will eventually be in multiple languages, and the text may also be longer / shorter, so it should be taken into consideration.
Here you will find a beta version of a recipe page on the web site: http://beta.fitcipes.com/recept/pec…ove-placky
