*** Primary focus should be on the Home Page***
Once primary design aesthetic is confirmed then we can transition focus to the product detail page template.
1.) Home Page*:
a. Clean navigation similar to everlane.com (drop down/roll over image)b. Featured content rotator (see everlane.com for fonts/aesthetic and call to action buttons). Four slides content as noted below:
Slide 1.) Product Feature: Subscription Box and call to action. See: https://www.birchbox.com/shop/join Content: Filler image of subscription box. Text copy: The ELF Box. Get a monthly delivery of seasonal fair-trade, organic superfoods and lifestyle samples that have been customized for you.
Slide 2.) "Hero" shot of indigenous farmers which might serve to communicate the transparency of our organization and direct connection to fair trade farming. Text: "Right to Know - Know your farmer. Know your cost. Always ask why."
Slide 3.) "#EssentialLivingFoods" Instagram campaign encouraging instragram users to tag photos showcasing how the use superfoods to fuel this lives
Slide 4.) Featured Product. Product photo (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/p27bt6fl…3A%20farms) perhaps the golden betties with the hush still on. Or the cacao bean. Filler Text overland a call to action.
c. Whitespace and copy allowing space to breathe and text reiterating our direct connection to source and transparency as a Company.
2.) Product Details Page template
a. Multiple product options (sizes) each with corresponding images: For the product detail pages, as we offer products in various sizes and the corresponding packaging is different, for each. Thus we need an elegant way to show each of the different product photos. Here's an example of one of our peers I do not think is elegant - but it does a better job of illustrating the options and actual packaging than our current site does: https://store.nutiva.com/coconut-manna/
As you can see on our site here: http://essentiallivingfoods.com/pro…ji-berries ; Goji berries for example come in 8oz and 5lbs bags, however we only show the 8oz photos on our current site. I much prefer the retail/apparel model as showcased on https://www.everlane.com/collection…light-blue
b. Product storys: photos and video ala everlane.com
c. Nutritional facts
d. Subscribe and Save: "add to bag" or Subscribe Bundle & Save: Similar to how honest.com gives customers the option to purchase any item ala cart, but also gives the option to bundle the item with other items, subscribe and save... I would like to model something like this (https://www.honest.com/baby/honest-diapers) but not as busy...
e. social share
f. related products
