Mockup - Home page
I love really simple designs. The best one I've seen recently is Twitter's new homepage.
Goal of this page: get people to sign up! They do this by clicking on a button that indicates they will be taken to a page where they can login via Twiter.
So on the right hand side, there should be a prominent button saying "Sign up now" or "Login now via Twitter" or something.
On the left hand side, there should be a global activity feed for the site.
Mockup - the Application Page
The place for application content.
