The Sun is a major factor in the novel so should be prominent. One character is the Day Knight, represented by the Sun, and another is the Dog Knight, ideally represented by a stereotypical spiked dog collar somewhere on the cover. My initial thought was a bloody sword stuck in the grass with a dog collar hanging around the hilt and the Sun bright in the sky. The antagonist of the book is a devil that lives in a bog not too far away, so I thought perhaps there could be a looming darkness or something of the sort. Some indication of lurking danger.\"")
